In 1982 he joined Bolton, Dunn, and Moore, an AV rated litigation defense firm located in downtown Los Angeles where his practice areas included professional liability, complex multi-party mass tort, construction defect, and personal injury litigation.

In 1984, Mr. Campbell moved to Sacramento to join the litigation firm of Bolling, Walter & Gawthrop, advancing to shareholder in 1988. In 1991, Mark Campbell left Bolling, Walter & Gawthrop to pursue a solo practice emphasizing litigation of real estate, business, professional liability, and liability insurance disputes. He began practicing law with George Murphy, Doug Alliston, and Stephanie Quinn in 2001, and was one of the founders of Murphy, Campbell, Alliston & Quinn.

Mr. Campbell is a member of the Sacramento County Bar Association. He is also a member of the Litigation, Real Estate and Intellectual Property sections of the State Bar of California.
